The concept for Yesterday was born from the intention that we could provide real value to women’s lives. One of our founding pillars is to provide support for women who lead busy day to day lives and who are often unable to take time for themselves to unwind, relax and recenter. Naturally, when we connect, form strong relationships with mothers and get to discuss what motherhood is like for them, it’s especially important to us.

Getting to know, work with and contribute to Svetlana’s self care rituals with the help of our CBD hemp oil products has been a beautiful journey for us. It’s inspiring to know that we can help other women restore balance in their lives, particularly during a time that has asked many of us to spend nearly every waking hour with our family (and kids). It’s been a challenge, and we’re firm believers in reaching out for help – mental, physical or both.

It’s our sincere hope that our conversation with Svetlana provides you with some value and insight into what motherhood is like for a working mom. The women to whom we owe everything.

How would you describe yourself in one sentence?

I would describe myself as a Mother, creative soul, dreamer and a homebody.

What’s one thing you really love about yourself?

I love that I’m resilient, I don’t get intimated by challenges in life I embrace them.

What’s the most rewarding part about what you do for a living?

I think the most rewarding part about what I do for a living is having flexibility and time to work around my kids and family time. I love that I’m able to be creative and work from home not miss out on seeing my kids grow up.

Do you have any motherhood tips for other working moms who are trying to find more time to take care of themselves?

Ask for help! Come up with a plan that you and your partner can agree on where you both give each other time/days of the week to yourselves.

What does self care mean to you?

It means taking a break from taking care of everyone else’s needs and giving myself time to unwind and do something relaxing to recharge.

What is one action, big or small, that always helps you feel better?

I think just talking to my partner about what weighing heavy on my heart or what I’m struggling with and having his support and help with the issue helps me relax instantly knowing it’s not all on my shoulders we can work together.

Is there anything you are actively trying to unlearn right now? What is it and why?

I am trying to unlearn perfectionism, I’ve struggled with as long as I can remember and it’s always brought on so much anxiety.

What’s your self-love language?

Alone time, I need to make time for myself to be alone. Time to recharge myself and really hear my own thoughts and intuition guide me.

What do you know and like about CBD? Is there anything you would like to learn about it?

I know that it’s a natural remedy and that it’s calming and healing.

Where can people find you? (socials, podcasts, blogs etc.)

Mostly just Instagram. I don’t have much time to put energy into more platforms at the moment.
